At WestTurf Texas we believe that beautiful healthy lawns are a product of soil health.
Our processes are sustainable because they reduce total nitrogen dosing, nitrogen run-off and chemical weed control. They improve lawn water efficiency through better infiltration in clay soils and increased water holding in sandy soils.
Through plug aeration, natural slow release fertilization, compost & humic acid applications we attract/employ microbes and earth worms to make nitrogen and other nutrients more available to the turf, plants and trees.
Our goal is a community full of thick healthy lawns which don’t have a need for excessive chemical weed, insect control, fertilization and irrigation. We strive to minimize chemical pesticides and use only those with the least adverse affect on our surrounding environment.
